I was quite surprised to find black? swallowtail caterpillars on a moon carrot ( Seseli gummiferum). I had parsley nearby so I put a few stems in with them and they munched the parsley too. Plenty of shrubs nearby to pupate in so fingers crossed for two new butterflies next spring.
Then some fall crocus for the bees and me. Crocus speciosus ‘Conqueror’.
Crocus pulchellus ‘Zephyr’.
